In Person Design

This is more for those who want a professional to do most of the work and understands that this type of service comes at a cost. This service is really for those willing to hand over most of the decision making to someone else.

What is involved?

I will visit your property(depending on location – see my included travel area as I am on the Sunshine Coast), and spend an hour or so going over what room/s you would like my assistance with, what you like, your space and establishing a guide budget and your expectations. I will then put together my design proposal for you to consider which will be sent via email. There is absolutely no obligation to go ahead with my proposal – once you have paid for the in home consultation, however I will always try to work with you to deliver to your expectations.

What happens after I accept your proposal?

It will depend on the scale of works however I will firstly give you a time frame in which the job will commence. You will need to deposit 50% of my fee plus the funds to purchase any products into my account upfront once you have accepted my proposal so I can start ordering everything. The balance of my fee will be paid immediately upon your satisfactory completion of the job.

How long does this take?

It will depend on the scale of the job and stock availability – if you are ordering any custom furniture it could take up to three months for the job to be fully complete.

How much does this service cost?

This full in person design consultation costs $250 for up to two hours on site which also includes an email follow up going through what we discussed and a rough estimate of the cost, once you accept this I will then provide a full quotation depending on the job size. Please note this is a fully customizable service so even though many people want me to do most of the work, others do get more involved so don’t be afraid to discuss all options with me.
